Trump Lost a Huge Opportunity in the Nomination of the Fake News Award
The most hated and loved president is Donald Trump. He is a controversial figure with very absurd and ignorant statements at times then very intelligent actions at other times. Whether one hates or loves Trump it changes nothing to the fact that he is neither as great as MAGA fans depict him nor as terrible as the liberal U.S. citizens try to spread. The U.S. economy continues to grow under President Trump. Numbers do not lie, Trump succeeded and failed as Chuck Jones wrote in his insightful article published in Forbes: Trump’s Economic Scorecard: One Year Since Inauguration
President Trump did not undermine democracies nor withdraw the U.S. troops from Syria, at the contrary, Trump empowered the U.S. role in the Middle East and was capable to put Russia, Iran and Turkey in check. A very hard task at which unfortunately President Obama fully failed.
Trump did not support Putin by destroying the NATO, he persevered and enforced the position of the European Union which would be powerless, weak and fully delivered to Russia’s conditions if the Trump’s administration decides to retreat from the Middle East. Yet, the European Union stands ungrateful toward Trump, carries on attacking him for opposing the controversial Iran Nuclear Deal and threatens to distance itself from its U.S. ties.
So far, contrary to his words, Trump’s actions were more good than bad to the U.S. and the world than any other U.S. president. However, when it comes to fake news, Trump is taking it personally and is not being a role model. In reality, the liberal media may not be fair to Trump, the reasons vary, but they do publish authentic news in general. Trump would have won the hearts of the liberal media by surprising them. He should have awarded the Fake News Award to GlobalResearch.ca, VeteransToday, MintPressNews, InfoWars and the WashingtonExaminer instead of CNN, New York Times, ABC and Washington Post.
Trump did sometimes incriminate himself with such tweets:
Sorry folks, but if I would have relied on the Fake News of CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS, washpost or nytimes, I would have had ZERO chance winning WH
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 6, 2017
So if he would have nominated the media which supported him, which is the Russian affiliated media, then he would have proven that he does not have ties to the Russian media and that his electoral victory was due to his very personal achievements.
Trump missed a huge opportunity to rally the media around him instead of attacking them and marginalizing himself: Bring your friends close and your enemies even closer is valid, because the liberal media are concerned about the future of the U.S. out of love to America, while GlobalResearch.ca, VeteransToday, MintPressNews, InfoWars, the WashingtonExaminer, Russia Today, Sputnik, Russian Insider and likes, hate the U.S. and the fake news they spread are targeted with the aim to destroy the U.S. from within.
I often disagree with President Trump and get a crisis from what he says or does, but same goes for Clinton and Obama. I view things in a different context than U.S. citizens. The world is not only about what happens inside the U.S. but what happens inside the U.S. affects the world. What Trump did is what Muslim do, ISIS attacks Muslim first, Qaeda attacks Muslim first, Iran attacks Saudi and Saudi attacks Iran first, and why?? It is because they want to take over from within so that a totalitarian one-sided opinion rules. This is why Muslim fail and Trump fails. Trump should have disregarded critic of his nations’ media, and focused on attacking the dirty Russian media, as such he would have won.
Imagine the headlines in the liberal media if Trump would have nominated VeteransToday or MintPressNews. He would have startled them. Trump would have delivered TRUE NEWS. Trump would have changed the mind of the liberal media and proved them wrong in their assumption that he is inadequate for the presidency, Trump missed the chance to show grandeur as the leader of the most powerful nation in the world and to prove that he is the master of surprise, the unpredictable. He also missed the golden occasion to unite the Americans against their real enemies and thwart the plan of Russia, Iran, Turkey, Assad, Hezbollah and all those who hate the U.S. and are working on its destruction. Trump should rethink his Fake News Award Nominees.
